1st solar hotel in the world:

Ecotourism site Madagascar Eden Lodge is the only hotel - luxury - in the world to run entirely on solar energy. Only the laundry (washing and ironing) is separate and uses a generator started only two hours a day.

An exceptional site: Far from the agitation of the island of Nosy Be, 30 minutes by boat, the site called "Baobab Beach is unique.

The finish is breathtaking: a white sandy beach crystal, dotted with majestic baobab trees centuries old, and dominated by a lush primeval forest.

The area of the Eden Lodge extends over 8 hectares, and its 8 lodges, combining traditional construction and a luxurious tent, totally fit into the environment, to offer each 75 m2 of private area . Local materials were used, such as the flat stone of Anjanojano the trunks of fallen trees, or coconut leaf ravinala (the traveler's tree).

Directly on the beach, their innovative architecture allows an optimal flow of air between the roofs ravinala and large openings filled with nets, tents. The room opens onto a terrace facing the ocean is conducive to relaxation. The bathroom, spectacular garden opens onto a second terrace reserved for massages. Each lodge has its own massage table.

Constructed in local materials, the lodges offer both maximum comfort and total immersion in nature. Designed by fashion designer Frédérique Glainereau, decoration combines elegant design and eco-ethnic spirit. The sohihy and rosewood are both valuable timber deductions for furniture, which is mixed in a Malagasy crafts revisited.
